reversethrust penalty

Hello all,

I've bought fspX and have the following issue. I fly the legal version of B737PIC from wilco. When I land and use the reverse thrust i get a penalty
which says that i used reversethrust below 60 knots. For one thing i am sure and that is that i did not do that. Looking here on the forum could not
give me a solution so i disabled the reverse thrust penalty.
But this is a bit like cheating and i really would like to fly with all penalties open so my question is, does anybody have a better solution than
disabling the penealty.

Do you know exactly what speed you take the engines out of reverse thrust? I always disengage thrust reverse at 80 knots.

The copilot on FSP should call out 80 and 60 knots after landing and setting reverse trhust. to make sure that you'll not get a penalty shut
sown the reverse trhust at 80 knots and use the spoilers and brakes to stop. However it should be safe to keep the reverser activate until
60knots, on FSP only gives you the penalty if you go below 45 knots. To disengage the reversers press the key for idle. (default F1)

Make sure that you ar not accidentally activating the reverse thrust since if the engines are at idle and you press the key to reduce thrust it
automatically goes into reverse thrust.

Powerbacks use to be a standard procedure in the late 60s and 70s during the days of pure jets. Today most turbofan engines are prohibited from
conducting a powerback and many airports in concern for idiots who plop a house next to an airport then complain about noise no longer allow powerbacks.

If you want to relive the days of turbojets and 1970s airports who cared less for people who decided to live next door to hundreds of jet engines,
then in the more_option.cfg you can disable the reverse thrust setting by changing:

DisableReverseThrust =1; // disable reverse thrust less than 60kts penalty

Other than that make sure you are out of reverse below 60 KIAS.
