What do I back up before a clean install?

My FSX installation is being vile and so I've finally decided to do a complete reinstall on a clean copy of Vista. Before I start this, I just have
a couple of questions regarding FS Passengers before I start...

(1) I want to keep all my company and pilot data for FS Passengers - is there anything I can back up to keep these? Do I just take a copy
of my existing FS Passengers folder or is there anything else I also need to back up?

(2) Will there be any reactivation problems? I'v only activated FS Passengers once so far.

In case it's relevant, I'm using:
- FSX (SP1/SP2 and Acceleration)
- Vista Ultimate 64-bit

I only have so I can't completely answer all of your questions but inside your fs passengers folder there should be a folder called database, that's
the only folder you need to save, then reinstall FSP and copy the database folder back in and overwrite any files and you'll be back up and running.
Not sure about activation since from what I hear it's been reworked since the fs9 version but my guess is that it would go fine. If you have any
troubles there's a few threads on here where you can let Dan know and I'm sure he'll take care of it in a jiffy.

That's great - thanks marineman for the quick reply. Having now looked at the database folder, there is indeed a text message stating
that these are the files to back up, so thanks very much for your help.

LOL! I'm waiting for my c2 moment of glory and am gasping at others here who are in the high echelons of c23 etc!!!!

Well, the good news is that I have completely rebuilt FSX, found some beautiful tweaks that have given FSX a bit of oomph again (avg 25-
30fps with full scenery rather than the pitiful 6-15fps I was getting before my rebuild), and FS Passengers is back in the game too.

And the advice was absolutely right! By restoring the database folder contents, I have my company and pilot back, no points or flying
hours lost (no aircraft damage lost either - pah!). The only thing I failed to do was also restore the user-images folder so my company
and pilot no longer bore their logos, but it didn't take a minute to reinstate those.
