A question..
Why in the name of God u want have failures... lol...
anyway, i have near 115 flight hours with fpx and the unique failures i have was 4 tireblow (my fault) and 1 tireblow about 1 min after
touchdown (low pressure on the tire), and really, really i dont want to deal with a fuel leak, or a engine failure at FL400, but if that present...
i think i'm rdy for put the plane smooth on the ground, or the sea

I had a few: fuel leak in old 737 (by old I mean it has 7000hrs on it's clock), tire blown on hard landing (my fault), complete electical failure, and
I was shot over Africa and lost an engine, hydraulics and electrics (that was fun to land). Overall I look forward to them.

By the way, what should I do when I have a fuel leak? I just turned crossfeed on and declared an emergency, but because I had enough fuel to reach
destination I just carried on going.

Hi a fuel leak is a emergency, but not necesary u need to divert a another airport, if have enought fuel for reach the route destination, just
do it... in fact i want a fuel leak to try that... (i try the mission challenge on the fsx menu, the landing with no engines, and i do it ).

a off topic question, any one has info about the real light penalty, when i must turn on and off the landing gear light, the strob, and the
another, cause i have so much question about that.

Fuel leak is just an annoyance...


As mentioned, press on if you have enough fuel....

What you can do in FS if you dont really care about realism, is crossfeed as much fuel out of the leaking tank as possible (so I will use the leaking
tank for both engines), then once its nearing dry will switch to running off other tanks.... (Little bit more fuel efficient).........and if its a
longer flight, once again if you dont really care about realism, dont declare an emergency until approach (that way you can still watch movies, and
feed pax)

I'm not sure why theres desperation to have failures. My underwear still hasn't recovered from my Mooney having engine failure in IMC(IFR
obviously!) over a mountain range. Im not sure where the excitement comes in having to instrument scan, while praying the cloud moves
so you can see if theres a gap in the range you can descend through or like me mistaking a gully for a gap( misread chart by oooh 400ft).
Ended up having a 300ft/min meeting with something (at 8700ft, ) when the gully ran out

Hah! My inboard spoilers deploy at Fl370 on a Boeing 744. It wasn't a pretty sight and didn't end happily either as I couldn't recover from the
resultant stall - the thing just fell out the sky like a stone. The aircraft was well maintained and only had about 45 flying hours on its airframe
too; $185million down the pan.

So why would anyone want failures?!

Note to self . Since posting on this I've had 3 failures in 3 flights (over 6 days)on a TTAF26hr baron, perfectly maintained with no hard
landings. I'd say thats either unlucky or someones trying to tell me something . . .

For failures try a takeoff in the oldest airplane you can buy preferably over 10,000hr TTAF, poorly maintained and at an airport in darfur and
fly at 1000feet, see how long it takes to come a cropper. . .

I belive I am having very same problem with FsPassenger as Thunderstorm described. FsPax failures stopped working. Before I found this thread I did my

Yesterday I had a flight in my PMDG Jetstream and got a fuel flow error. Well the problem is that I`m still new on the JS 41 (sometimes I still burn
my engines at startup cuz I defeather to hasty x)). In that cause I wasn`t sure if I messed up with the engines once again, or if FSP wanted to
challenge me after a long term of safe flights.... So I was struggeling 2 minutes too long hehe. During my called emergency landing (yeah I finally
decided it, oh dear^^) the left engine finally collapsed and exploded lol.
Result: -800 points cuz I didn`t realize the issue at startup, so who cares that the emergency landing was perfect hehe.
I love FSP for those kind of lessons gg.
I fly with the defeault bush pilot settings, so failures should be like 5 % I believe. Most of my flights are without any events, unless I fly in
warzones. Somewhat I find it more refreshing to get roughly pushed out of your routine every 10th to 20th flight. And if you`re still learning to fly
the plane, it`s hardcore to get surprised gg.
