I noticed the following: if you have set the flight number in the standard FSX dialog, but set a FsPX flight number when starting your flight,
everything is ok as long as you are on VFR (meaning ATC use the FsPX call sign). As soon as you change to IFR or ask for flight following
or comply to the rules in flying through B and C airspace ATC suddenly start using the number specified in FSX. I have not tried what
happens if you have another airline call sign in FSX, but a non existing one (left-over from some experimenting) or -None- in airline and
any number in flight number will cause this. Given the way to trigger this I expect this to be a FSX thing rather then a FsPX thing. Also the
work-around is easy: remove the flight number from the FSX dialog). No action required from Dan, but maybe someone else ran into this
and wonders how to get rid of it.
