PMDG MD-11 & Mini Panel Bug?!

Hello,
I have a little problem using the Mini Panel together with the PMDG MD-11.
I noticed that all the time the course changes there is like a blue compass kind of layer appearing where the Mini Panel is. I've looked through the
posts on here but I couldn't find a similar problem.
The layer seems to flicker when you make a turn, on every heading change the blue compass like layer flickers through the place where the Mini Panel
is located, it also happens in all views, unless you close the Mini Panel.
Anyone has a clue what could cause this problem? It only seems to happen with the PMDG MD-11, it works fine with the PMDG 747.
I'd appreciate it if anyone knows a fix for this.

Thanks for the pic. I have seen several posts about people having issues with the MD-11 and FSX. Have you tried hiding the mini panel to
see if this still happens when you make any course changes? Frankly, I never use the mini panel for any flights. I do open the in-flight
report(FS9 version) occassionally but that's it.

If I hide the mini panel everything is fine, it only happens when the mini panel is open. I usually always have the mini panel open, got used to it in
all the last years while using FS09 and FSP.
Now with the PMDG MD-11 though it happens to have this bug.
It also appears in any view if you have the mini panel open, not only in cockpit view.

Ahhh,ok. Have you looked on the PMDG forums as well to see if they may have any solutions,too? I really don't know any other option but
to hide the mini panel. Maybe others will have some sort of remedy besides hiding the panel.

Same here, FS Compass flashing inside the FSpX mini-panel. I think it's the compass used during FSX missions, is it not? Running
FSXsp2 with the PMDG MD-11_sp1.

I guess you folks just need to hide the mini panel until a permanent solution is found. Or, during a flight, unhide it occassionally to check
on your drunk paxsPersonally I never use the mini panel on any flight. I open the flight report every once in a while to see the status of
movie progression, drink/meals served, but that's it.

On PMDG forum they say it might be caused by the maximun number of windows FSX can handle as it seems that MD-11 uses a lot of
them for all its panels...

Another hint: this problem is solved if using Directx10 Preview option presents on FSX.

One possible solution is to reduce the number of panels in panel.cfg to say 7, then maybe fsx compass issue will be solved.

Cause am sure we dont need all the default pmdg windows at cost of fspax mini display.

hi am noel....am in flight training ...i want to ask any one a favor ..i hav a flight simulator x and 2004..i hav fs passengers but i f=dnt knw
how to unlock them....plz any body cud i plz hav the code for either the fsx or 2004...i dnt hav a credit card to purchase any or nothg to get...i
love to hear people enjoy there selfves on there simulator..but am tired of me flying on my sim and only me one cud i plzzzzz hav the code
so i cud enjoy my self thank u god blesss all of u and each and every one of u....
