After landing my POSKY A340 at EIDW this morning in a vicious crosswind, I taxied in and unboarded my pax. When I viewed the flight report, I saw this:
Overall Flight Result: Perfect
Pilot Bonus points: 812 points
• You made a very nice landing. (+50)
• Perfect Flight, no problems and very satisfied passengers. (+150)
• You landed at the scheduled airport. (+30)
• Precise arrival time at destination.(-00h04:10 difference) (+100)
• Long flight (09h38) without using time acceleration, without any problems and with satisfied passengers. (+482)
Pilot's Penalty points: -250 points
• Pushing the engines to maximum power with parking brakes set is not a good idea. (-250)
...POSKY airplanes tend to be overpowered at idle; the 757-200, for example, will eventually do 60kts. Is this where FSP is getting the idea that I
ran my engines up to 100% with the brake set, or is it because N1 momentarily reaches 100% when the engine is first lit off (and while I have my
brakes set)?
I would have reached c7 on this flight if not for this bogus penalty.
