fspassengers windows in FS2004 won't show! (ati, vista)

Dear fspassengers users,

I recently upgraded to an ATI HD 3850 AGP 512 MB, brand new graphics card which is otherwise kick as but i am now having the following
problem:

No matter what resolutions / graphics' settings (either within FS2004 or from the ATI CATALYST control panel), when i call up ANY window
from the fspassengers menu in fs2004, it won't show, it refuses to become visible no matter what. The screen goes black and the only
thing i can do is press esc, then the window goes away and i return to my flight normally. I didn't have any of those problems on windows
xp with my previous NVDIA GEFORCE 7800 GS OC AGP

Any ideas what might be causing this?

I've got an

WINDOWS VISTA BUSINESS ON SP1
ATHLON AMD 3200+
2GB RAM
ATI RADEON HD3850 512mb agp8x

I don't have an ATI card but it does sound like the AA bug. Did you try disabling all AA to see whether it fixs it?
I will also move your topic out of the fsx forum

That was it! I disabled the A.A from within the fs2004 and enabled it from the ati catalyst instead and it now works wonders! thanks a lot for
your support mate, truly appreciated!
