Default 747 and Flaps penalty

Hey Guys, got a question here, i tried to search but couldnt find the answer... Well finally after over 100 hours of flying I've got me self a
brand new 747... Just took it for a test "flight", and was a little surprised that I've got a pentalty for exeding speed with flaps, but according
to the refrence chart i deployed my flaps way below limit. I extended to 5 degrees at about 250 knots, and it says in the refrences that 5
degrees safe at 260 knots, i really dont want to get this penatly anymore and dont want to disable the penalty, but really dont want to stall
my a/c, is there is fix for that, if not what would you guy recommend?

You are still way above stall speed @ 250 kts. The only real problem is the higher nose attitude I usually start deploying flaps around 220 with 10 deg at 200 and then wait for finals to lower the
gear and the rest of the flap.

I have no idea what the real bus drivers do since I do not fly these beasts but it would make for interesting reading I'm sure

The only way to correctly fly the 747 without receiving penalty is to remove the penalty option.

Thanks for your input guys, i guess i'll just start deplying flaps below 250 kn, since i dont want to disable the penalty
