Please a 10 sec delay for OverSpeed penalty

ive never used accelleration myaself, if i dont have long for a flight, i choose a closer airport

I know i know, i'm not a 'hardcore' simmer, i like travelling to far away airports (well as far as my Mooney can go, about 800nm). I never use
autoland or anything like that, and i try and use the dreadful MS ATC, i think i deserve a medal just for that.

Same here, my only wish for FSnext is that there will be a better ATC in it (no no, there is another thread about this already )

No FSP has to watch out for this, because when the main prog has an error/bug you have to modify FSP so that i, as an user who paid for FSP, have not

Wind smoothing is available in ASV, regardless of which FSUIPC version you use (registered or not).

Iam going to have to agree i have flown somtimes where the plane gets a quick gust of wind and speeds up soooo much in like 1

Ok but I don't think that buying another software only to fix this prob isn't a very good solution.

See I don't have ActiveSky and I will never buy, and so I use FSMetar and I would have to register FSUIPC to activate weather smoothing.

Ok, but then there's not much you can do about these fs9 'problems' but except it... I have to say i doubted long time before i bought fsuipc but now
i'm glad i did.

Hi!
I have a similar problem with overspeed. I have ASV and when cruising at FL340 with my recently acquired 737 . I noticed sometimes a
strong crosswind changes direction and becames a headwind, my airspeed jumps up while my groundspeed lowers. Sometimes this is
enough for overspeeding for 1 ou even 0.5 sec. Must I really be penalized because the winds changes and I overspeed for such little
time? If so what can I do to prevent it? Aside from cruising slower?



PS: I saw another funny thing while cruising with autothrottle on, a crosswind changed into a tail wind (a very strong tailwind) and the
autopilot sensing the airspeed lowering increased throttle to 90% N1. Man I was cruising in a 737 with a GS of 550 Knts ... of course
the wind changed again and BANG! aircraft overstressed there goes 3h of flying down the toilet!

Hi Kaveman, not sure but i think everything you want to know is in this thread right? The reason why even for a short time you get
penalized and what you can do about it, all there

Yes there are somethings, I wish it could be more elaborate. Aahh well, I guess I'll just have to cruise slower and add even more minutes
to the flight time. But I still don't agree getting penalized for overspeeding for a micro second. Anyway, I'll just remove that little
penalty from more_options.cfg
