hi :-)

this will be a longer list - possibly this threads have been posted already (if yes sorry for that)
The reason for me why I have bought this very nice add-on was that all upcoming upgrades are for free which means I can count on
further developments..
here some things that I do not like:

calculations are not correct –

e.g.

take off weight 126871 lbs
fuel 12538 lbs
zfw 114330 lbs
payload weight 8654 lbs
pax weight 14375 lbs

now, if I take the zfw und compare:

PMDG 737-800 empty weight 91300lbs
Pax weight 14375 lbs
Payload weight 8654 lbs

then this are 114329 lbs and NOT 114330 as shown in fspassengers.

If I take now the114330 lbs and my fuel 12538 lbs then this is 126868 lbs
but fspassengers says 126871 lbs.

now some of you are now saying – hey come on this is just a difference from 3 lbs.
yes this is right but if i want to count on my calculations then they have to be correct.
Round up or round of should be the pilots decision not fspassengers. : - (

next point:

if i want to load my passengers then i need to go to the menu and proceed there…
which means whenever i go to the menu this will disturb the original time.

next point:

when ever i want to fill my tanks (short trip – with pmdg 737-800) then fspassengers does it not the correct way. He fills all tanks instead
only the outside tanks and then if required the center tank too.
Whenever you want to change after passengers are boarding u cannot change this anymore : - (

next point:

whenever i am on the taxiway and the crew finished their safety message then I am turning the music on again. So if i want to welcome
my pax and give them some short flight details then i need to turn the music off which means my crew says .. bla bla bla take-off.
Now normally u turn the music on again to calm scared people down or whatever –
result= crew says a 2nd time blab la bla take-off….. doesn’t bother me that much but is not correct.

next point:

that little ugly seat belt button ; - ) i am always flying the pmdg and the have such a nice seat belt button – is there some way that anyone
can possibly program this so that we can use the real pmdg button?

next point:

whenever I press ctrl shift and D then normally the crew should bring drinks – when I am doing that it always turns my chatter ambience
volume down….. hmmmmm I always need to got to the menu : - )

next thing:

I always get -30 points for leaving the strobes on at the parking ramp – but there are not on..

next thing:

how does fspassengers calculates the arrival time ? because I am always right on time and he is still telling me in the inflight report -
pax waiting since 5, 6 etc minutes for takeoff….

suggestion:

a thing that is unreal to me is:

all pax are always right on time – no delay no nothing.
is there possibly a way that the fspassengers development crew make something new here?

maybe a pax from the pax list will come later because of the connection flight and the crew will wait 10 min or so and if the pax is still not
there then the pilot can decide to wait some more minutes or the leave the passenger…

maybe there is also a chance that the fspassengers development crew can add the pilot welcoming the guest and telling them the flight
time (cause u need to fill in the arrival time) or the arrival airport.
But all these things should be made in a u can activate this mode because all those pilots flying in their big home cockpit want to do their
announcement by themselves.

all in all this is a really great tool (otherwise I wouldn’t have bought it) and I cant wait for all the new things coming up for this add-on.

for all those that are no more in the fs rookie mode this is something nice and challenging!!

I really appreciate this tool!!!! keep up the nice work!!

To be honest, lots of your "errors and suggestions" have already been discussed. They mainly sound like bickering to me, but that's just
my opinion. I'll respond to your points:

1. About the weight: I'm a real pilot, and 100% of the time 1-3LBS NEVER matters. Remember, we calculate PAX weight based on an
average value, so these small variations DON'T MATTER! A difference over 100LBS between calculated weights is where we start our
concern.

2. You're right! It does disturb the original time. What I do is I go ahead and set my FS time 1 minute ahead of the current time. This way,
I load up FSP, then when I start it I'm right on schedule. A minute inaccuracy shouldn't be anything but a minor nuance anyway!

3. The fuel issue has already been discussed. It will be addressed in the next update with an enchanced and updated fuel loading
module.

4. The seat belt button is ugly, SO DON'T USE IT! It's not that much work to press CTRL-SHIFT-B and flip the PMDG seatbelt sign. As
I've stated in the past, it's recommended that we make an announcement everytime the seatbelt sign is turned on or off. Consider
flipping the PMDG sign as turning it on/off, and pressing CTRL SHIFT B as making the announcement!

5. Since you're complaining about realism... The "chatter" is not realistic. Those are just a bunch of compiled wav recordings. I
never "see" the plane referenced in the chatter. This seems to clash with your other "suggestions"

6. About the strobe lights: If you look at the FAQ thread on top of the FSPASSENGERS General Forum, you'll notice that I provided the
real world use of all external 737 lights, and if you follow my recommendations, you won't get any penalties. If you're flying the PMDG and
getting a penalty, you're doing something wrong (I don't have any penalties).

7. Of course the PAX wait 5 or 6 minutes for takeoff! It takes you time to taxi and get the aircraft ready, doesn't it?

As for your suggestion: It's noted, however Dan already has an established update list. Perhaps it will fit in some day.

You mention that you enjoy this tool! If you do, don't worry about the little bothers that you mentioned. Nothing you mentioned is a major
issue that prevents you from flying!

There will always be purists that basically want the whole flying experience, and while I can agree some is nit-picky (not necessarily with
the original poster but as a general rule) there is nothing wrong with stating things that some consider "errors" or open suggestions.
Sometimes such sugestions might be a great addition to an otherwise great add-on.

However errors when it comes to payware add-on aircraft with FSp, you cant really call them errors.Especially with such aircraft as PMDG
or Level D as these are as close as you can get and while FSP is amazing, even it can have some dysfunction with such models. Its not
the fault of FSP at all though.

hello everybody again,

ok first of all this is want i want to say to brad (the forum moderator) -

your answers sounded a little bit offending to me (bickering, THEN DONT USE IT, NEVER MATTERS etc.)

I never said that all mentioned things were major failures that will kepp me from flying.
all what i did was mentioned some things that i didnt like and if there is e.g. a difference from 3 lbs then this has nothing to to keep u
busy with writing its just fact! i do not see much problem (actually I cant do it i am not a programer) to fix this little problem someday.

the seat belt button - like you said "DONT USE IT" thank u for this information i know that i dont have to use it if i dont want to!
fact is - ctrl shift b is an alternative solution. simple people like me maybe would like it if they can use the original button from their
airplane that they are using. i know u cant do it for every airplane that is clear - but there are some these as real as it gets cockpits (pmdg)
where this additional function would make a customer if think more "GREAT"!!

The chatter thing - i think here was something missunderstanded: what i ment was whenever i want to activate the crew to bring drinks
for the pax then i can press ctrl shift and D to activate this. but whenever i do this then instead of bringing drinks there is the text
field "chatter ambience volume" which means it will decrease the volume. i tried to change it in the menue where u can change the key
assignments but its still the same.....

the strobe light - hm actually i did it as mentioned from you in your "real lights guide" but I will try it again if you do not get any error then
the fault must be possibly on my side (or another add on makes this mistake.)

paxes waiting for take-off -

actually this is for my calculations not correct -
e.g

i plan my take off at 08:00 pm

i will enterthe cockpit at 07:00 pm

pre start checks until approximately 07:20 pm (i have fdc which means i do the complete checklists)

pax boarding starting at 07:20pm

end of boarding 07:45pm (i always choose 20 min)

at 07:45 pm starting pushback

at approximately 07:50 pm i start taxiing

so now i have 10 min. until my take off ... enough time ... but here there are already saying waiting for take off since 5, 6 min...

again this is no big deal !! BUT its not correct...because i am right on time.

i am not a real pilot brad but i try to take it very serious - whenever i want to do a flight i get complete weather maps with all the weather
during my flight and the temperature at my FL , charts, land maps,etc. - i calculate my fuel, i subscribed at flight planner to have detailed
flight routes - which imports it to my fs2004 and into pmdg flightplans) so that i will get the complete detailed route , if i want the original
flight time i always go to real airport sites to check the flight time or i go to euro-book.net to get the flight time there because when you
book a flight during the planning it will show the approximately flight time considered on the TAS. (this planning takes some time)

some of the things are not really important for a online flight but i still do them because i have fun doing it ......


maybe the word ERROR was wrong and all i wanted to do is to tell you about some things that are not correct.
i am a customer - i bought your tool - which means i am on your side and have trust in this product and the more suggestions or
possible errors/mistakes people will tell you the better it is for fspassengers because this way you really now that people do care about
fspassengers !! which means for the development crew they can do it even more better to come close to the "perfect add on" stage.


again this is a great tool and i do not want to miss it anymore during my flights......
