Just flew into New Orleans and was surrounded by thunderstorms banging away and lightening but no rain. The passengers weren't
scared, I would be, maybe in a future update.?

FsP detect turbulence it suprising that you had a storm without any turbulence ?

When there's turbulance or rain I do get a reaction from the passengers but this was just the sound of thunder all around me, no rain or
turbulance, pretty violent, but I wasn't right in it. Was just wondering if you can detect the sound of thunder and maybe get a reaction from
the passengers.

Seems like lots of people have been flying into MSY (or the surrounding airports). Is there a fascination with extreme weather here?

I did it with a Herc this morning. And I guess that yes I do get fascinated by extreme weather. Don't get me wrong my heart goes out to
those caught up in it. Just nature fascinates me with what she can do and we are so helpless for all our techno gadgetry.

I agree... interesting stuff. It's got a bad side too though, just don't forget that!
