It would be great if we can see them, for example through a camera from the flight deck, we can see what are the pax currently doing.

Or when we're in virtual cockpit, we can see the crew coming in to get us drinks or coffee.
Best if we can mod our own skin, i'll put my face as the captain :D

That would have to be part of the model within FS9 itself, it's beyond the scope of something like FSP given the limitations of FS.

Unfortunately the desuigners of the aircraft would have to design virtual passengers into the cabin when they create the aircraft.

There are only a handful that I know of that have passengers inside, although the POSKY CRJ 200 has a few "visible" from the outside of
the aircraft, and makes for a good commuter virtual aircraft.

having pax in the virtual cabin especially moving ones tends to be a big framerate killer. The only aircraft I can think of that has attempted
this is Eaglesoft with their payware Cessna Citation X and it has one moving passenger inside

I have tried just that: repaint the captain-face for the MAAM R4D. Didn't work. It seems that the texture is not at all used and they just put a skincolor on the 3D-model :-((

But seriously: I would die to see the passengers and crew in real. It is really stupid to talk to the copilot and if you move your head in VC there is but nobody. In the MAAM R4D you can walk through
the passenger cabin and nobody's there. (I wanted to find about that woman talking about love and relationship ;-))
The programming effort would be simply outrageous. It would already be impossible for just one aircraft. But then you have to do it differently for all the aircrafts we are using. Nop hope for the next
future...
The next step will probably be an animated Co-Pilot, provided by the 3D-designers of the aircrafts...

Well, the idea of a monitor is not bad.
I don't say that it's realistic, but it would be fun jus to see an aircraft map with all seats etc as a top down view.


If a seat is empty, you can see it in the map and if it's not, you'll see an passenger.
If the crew is serving drinks, you can see them moving around the map. (for example a Stewardess with a trolly in the border, if the serving % raise,
you'll see move her to the back of the aircraft).
It would also be great if you can pax see going to the toilet

...and if you do a Dive of Death with seatbelts off, all the "dots" come flying towards the cockpit?
...and if the passengers were drunk, you'd see the "dots" stumbling around?

That would be fun!

Justflight have pax on their flying Club planes visible and animated. And Aerosoft Diamond Katana has a visible left seat passenger who
is most definitely animated. (quite cute for a bunch of pixels too)

And please make some more realistic adjustments to the seat belting time.

Example, it's too fast of respond that the pax put their seat belts on IMMEDIATELY after the light emited.
They need time to respond, look for the belts n fasten them.

And the rate is too fast.

Just a thought to make it more realistic anyway.
