Atc chatter file size

Hello gentlemen,
I have a wav file that is 319 Mb big. I would like to add it to the atc chatter file (which I have done following the instructions) but the file does not play
in the assigned frequency even if it is in the proper format. The only thing that I can think of is that it may be too big...
Can someone please enlighten me??

Maybe this isn't the best forum to bring this up? When did ATC chatter become part of FsP? Just curious

Well, your curiosity, and enthusiasm of your answer overwhelms me... forgive me... Isn't there a folder called Radio chatter where we can drop our
own files, in wav. format and assigning the appropiate frequencies as published by FSp??? If not here where then???
Now I know how you got to have 7594 posts. Truly a living legend...

joe. ATC chatter is in FSp. default file is a KSFO chatter file

im not 100% shure if there is a size requirment. there is a limit of 60files per folder thoue

this is what i got from the readme
8bits 11'000hz or
slightly less in PCM format.

you said it is formatted corectly so im not shure. maby try reduceing the size and lets see

Thank you very much Tim. Your prompt answer is, for, very appreciated, even though it was of no help really. I went to ALL of the "read mes" available
and Googled practically everything available, before I even thought of coming here.
I just thought that here , someone, eventually, within the past few years of using this program, would have eventually "schtumpped" into this problem.
Even though, electronically I am classified as a "young recruit" I am not really that, either in the use of the program, nor in the real aviation world.
So. If someone can even dare to give me an answer, like maybe, a developer, for example it would be most appreciated.
In all honesty, I dont know why it simply doesn't work. According to the very simple instructions, I have added a dozen or so files published by FSP services without any problems, and now with only ONE file (admittedly 319 Mb) Where, according to the published FSP info, can hold Sixty and no mention whatsoever to its sizes; It doesn't play. THAT is what makes me think that the problem may reside in the file size. NOW, in order to split the file to see IF that is the case, at this moment (maybe because of frustration...) goes beyond my knowledge, as simple as it possibly may be. Unless, someone can confirm a file size restriction.
