Hello everyone,
Just a curious question.
I flying on FSX, with REX2 loaded.
Im flying my Beachcraft F33. Filed my flight plan. It was a 143nm flight. 4500' for my alltitude, and flying a northern heading. I had 3 passengers on
board. Flying vor to vor.
The first 30 miles or so, i had some cloud coverage about 5000', Then i noticed some darker clouds, with lightning in the distance. Was on my
heading of 005, and before i flew into the thunderstorm turbulance hit me. My passengers adrenalin drop to 21%,(scared by turbulance). The
thunderstorms last for about 60 to 70 nms. I kept flying the same course, and altitude. I finally got out of the storm. Then 3 miles out from touchdown i
hit some more turbulance and heavy rain. I landed safely. Received a perfect score of 320.
Will flying through the storm, or before i got to the storm, what if anything could i have or should have done to make the flight more comfortable for
my passengers?
Thanks,
stocz2
