Minimum Flight Distance ??

HI all

I was just wondering what is the shortest flight distances you can fly without getting penalised by passengers for "Flight Too Short". I
read on this forum that someone flew a short flight, and the passengers were not happy.

HAHA...yeah, I had this experience. I was having a hard time landing 767s after long flights so decided I would just make a practice run
with passengers aboard so I could get feedback. So I wouldn't have to go far, I flew from Bush Intercontinential to Ellington AFB, which is
just on the other side of the city. I thought it was pretty funny flying a 767 on a 7 minute flight, but the passengers were not happy. So it at
least needs to be longer than 7 minutes

I would think around 30 minutes or so. Not too sure. The shortest flight we fly is 150 miles or so, and that's a very short one. KAUS-

I did a 7 min flight and I did not get a flight too short but I was in a slow aircraft.

lol... 10 minutes is REALLY short. I think it's around 20-30

I'll double check Dan, but I think I had a 17 minute flight (in the air) where they complained...I'll double check in the morning before we call
it a bug.

About the flight distance, if I fly a longer distance, can I increase the price ticket or is my income is proportional of the flight distance ?

Dan is right as usual (why are we second guessing the programmer???), I flew one this morning which was 10 minutes and 07
seconds and it resulted in a excellent flight rating. No complaints from the paying customers.

So the trick is, no matter how close the airport is...fly a holding pattern until you pass the 10 minute mark in the air.

it's proportionnal (the title of ticket price say something like "price for nn miles" (or km)

Passengers in FsP are strange people. They buy the tickets before knowing where the plane is going to. Even without knowing for the
whole flight. Guess they like surprises.

Also, they don't care about sightseeing. If you make a flight showing them the most beautifull views and then land at the same airport,
they will not pay you a cent.
