[Solved]Company doesn't exist, unable to get data...

Hello.

I fired up FSp today, and I went to load my aircraft as usual. However, this time, i get an error. It says

"Error, No Company!

Company doesn't exist, unable to get data"

However, when I go to make a new company, the name and pilot of my original company is still there...

Any suggestions on what I can do? I have the original database folder backed up, in case that could be the cause.

How many companies do you have? In FS9, I've had FsP randomly use another company as my active one, but it hasn't happened in quite some time. I had
to switch to the company I wanted to make it active. I assume you did the same? Also, what level are you for the company you want active...C10? C23

Actually I had only one company, and my level was around c9 or c10 I'm not quite sure exactly.

The thing is that when I go to >FSPassengers>Start Flight the error comes up. But my companys not completely gone, since if I went to create a new
one, the name and pilot with the rank and settings would still be there, in the list of companies created.

I don't know if this will work or not, but it's worth a try...

Create yourself a new company and then make it the active one. Create a new pilot for this new company. Buy whatever plane you were using in the
other company and see if you can start a flight with this new one.. If so, switch the active back to the original and see if that one works again.

I'm just thinking that maybe the database is pointing to a bogus record or index somehow and doing this might allow you to re-select the company you
want (i.e. kind of like rebooting your computer when it's frozen).
