Hello all,
Well after about a month of owning FSX, I dl'd FSPassengers and I must say it does bring more context to FSX. I just did my first flight
tonight from Colorado Springs (KCOS) to Cheyenne (KYCS) and what a riot.
First off, the runway at the springs was a tad short and I achieved liftoff at the other end of the runway threshold. My 100% passenger
satisfaction immediately dropped to 51% due to the adrenaline rush and fear.. what a hoot...lol. I was flying the Boeing 737-300 PIC.
The flight went pretty smooth, although I'm still figuring out why the help text is blacked out when rolling over the mini FSPassenger
console. I had to randomely click the icons to finally get food and beverages served (which didn't happen until 3/4 through the flight). The
movies and music was pretty cool to. And the voice of the flight attendant seals the deal for the rest of the experience, very cool!
I'm still working on my ILS approaches and on final to KYCS I forgot to lower flaps past 10 as I approached the runway. As I lowered to 15
the autopilot pitched to high in the flare and I ended up scraping the tail on the ground and blew out two of my tires. So much for
passenger satisfaction on that flight.. lol. But hey, it was my first and I'm stoked I didn't crash the plane.
Now I'm looking forward to many more flights with FSPassengers. Of all the addons I've seen on the net and considered buying, I'm glad I
bought this one.
Cheers,
Doc
