Help

Just joined and have flown a few flights with FSP. Wondering if there is a way to have a captain message as in 'hi this is your captain
speaking bla bla bla..." ?

Secondly i note in the default voice pack there are numerous message from the crew, but during flight i only get a handful of them.Maybe i
am not doing something to bring up these files during flight ?

Any help would be geatly appreciated

first question: yes, record it, convert the file to a format that fspax uses and then overwrite the boarding announcement in the default
pack... I myself just talk to the passengers and pretend the crew isn’t there after all practice makes perfect!! Alternatively you can make
an entire voice pack using the 'create voice pack' tab in the fspax dropdown menu (under fspax utilities)

Secondly: are you in career mode? if you are you'll be in a prop aircraft which doesn’t have crew (that’s why you cannot serve
drinks/food/play movies) so the cabin remains silent apart from the co pilot when you screw something up to my knowledge the light
aircraft can be crewed, however i cant remember how to do it so I’ll take a random stab fspax main tab> crew setup> follow prompts
(like i said, random stab)

the crew doesnt offer coffee:P but the announcements can be changed... try the 'more downloads' section of the website and browse
around for some additional cruise announcements

Ansett was half correct. If you want crew service on all aircraft you can go into the fsp setup from the pull-down menu and tab through
untill you get to that option, there are quit a few pages so read carefully or you'll miss it.

close enough:P i was in the middle of a flight and my computer doesnt like to maximise fsx so has a bitch fest and crashes (the
computer)

Ah ha......in the default pack i spotted <107 cruise_coofee.wav.> with a vey seductive hosess saying "helo captain, would like some
coffee, enjoy".... ;-) i 'm just wondering what keys i have to press to get her to come into my cockpit and offer me a yard of ale after editing
it, along with the other pedefined wav files that i have yet to work out how to sumon during flight

Well i suppose if i can't work it out, i shouldn't be in charge of piloting the poor folk around the world in the first place :P

theyre cruise announcements and are cued automatically every 15 mins i think, maybe 20... but they happen randomly and only while at
cruise level
