Anyway to avoid false emmergencies?

Hi everybody,

I'm a fervent user of complex aircraft and FsP.
I like to set little chance to have random failures on my planes. Today, I had a complete engine out failure, and landed on a alternate airport.

Since the failure was not FsP generated, it said I declared a false one, and gave me a -600pts penalty + a bill to pay. Hence I didn't registered the
flight.

I would like FsP to accept ALL the failures I declare. My flights would be more exciting.

Do you know anyway to do that?

Disable all failures within the aircraft software that you have purchased...like PMDG, LDS 767,etc. That way you won't get a failure created
by 3rd party software and will only get FsP failures.

Another solution is as simple and allows you to retain the failures as designed. Don't bother declaring an FsP emergancy, just cancel
destination and deal with the failure. You won't collect a gazillion FsP hero points but you won't be penalized for a false alarm (since FsP
cannot detect model or FS induced failures) and it will just cost some customer satisfaction.

Normally when there is a FSP failure the copilot will most likely say something (unless it is a fule leak, and in some other cases as well
so be careful) If you are not sure you cna always look at what failure FSP can do in the manual failure.bak or.cfg file.
You can always use the FSP failure alarm, but that is cheating.
