Not recognising crashes.

Hi,
I am messing about with the demo and will buy it as soon as I can pursuade the wife.
I have a slight problem.
When I crashed it didnt register it and just reset the flight.
I have seen the screenshots where it show an injury list and cost to repair,
but I do not get any of that. It just resets the flight back to the beginning. What am I doing wrong? (apart from crashing)

Go to the FSPassengers menu and end the flight there.

It will not let me end the flight. By the time I go to the FSPassenger menu the flight has reset and I am back to the load plane menu.

You probably started a career without the Instant record option... without that option FsP considers that you'd be pretty darn dumb ( ) to
register the flight after a crash and with your pilot dead so it doesn't even gives you the option to save it

Also, make sure that you set your Fs2004 to recognize crashes !

Yeah, what Ryan mentioned is probably your problem. Make sure you have FS2004 configured to recognize crashes, and reset the
situation or show an accident report. Which ever you prefer.

Personally, I hate the FS2004 crash detection (since FS2004 has a few hiccups with the system), and I have it turned off. I don't really
need it anyway (stated with extreme arrogance as I dust off my shoulder. lol)

Well I got it figured (sort of).
After I crashed I needed to quickly click on the FSPassenger menu before FS2004 has time to reset itself.
If it resets then I have lost the flight.

Do you have the detect crash option checked (with both check marks below it) in the Fs2004 Settings\Realism menu? With this option
checked, Fs2004 should not reset the flight when you crash.

Yes I have them checked.
It still resets itself when I crash and before I have a chance to click End Flight.
I thought that because I have FPF set to automatically save each flight then this wouldnt be a problem, but if I do not click End Flight quick
enough it does not register the flight.

Weird, are you running on FS9 or FS9.1? Maybe the Flight Sim patch corrects that problem.

I cant remember whether I have installed the patch or not :-).
The version says 9.00.030612 so I presume not.
If I install the patch will it mess with any of my add ons? I have spent probably a year tinkering and getting it perfect so I dont want
something nasty to happen.
