Never fly with this company again?

So I finally scraped up the $42 to register FSP, and immediately moved my operations to KPHX. I didn't take a hit to my rep because I've flown here
many times from SFO.

After building my airline up to 99%, I took a flight to Flagstaff. That one went perfectly. The return leg, not so much...

It's gonna cost me $1.5M to repair the engine, and Bog knows how long to repair my reputation. After flying a left-hand pattern with the right engine
out (gotta go left out of Flag due to terrain to the west) and greasing the airplane on, my company's rep should have *increased*, AFAIC. It's not
like a bird strike is a result of poor maintenance, it's just bad luck.

On the other hand, only 1,000 more points to C12...

Ya. At least this time I saved the airplane and pax, unlike my first bird strike during hard IFR. Stall/spin into San Francisco Bay while turning
final.

I dont' think peoples care if it was pilot fault or not, they where traumatised by the problem
The less you hear there was a problem with a company, higher is your thrust in it. bad luck, fault or whatewer.

your -5.87 still leave you a fair high reputation that show you have done a great job until now imho,
would you have crashed it would be another story.

Man, far not the worst could happen... I'll never fly with my company because it made bankrupcy... repairing acft would cost 4x its worth and
insurance was not going to pay anything then. ORBI is nightmare, where was all that expensive US military crap?!?!

Question: Does this happen everytime, or was I only unfortunate? When I founded a new comp. and tried to escape that hell, was hit many times again
short after take-off and was lucky both engines went on and lost only one tank (along with hydraulics and elecs., so could have landed out of warzone
(to found next company )
If there is a chance for damage "over24%" does this mean "100% everytime, day and night, go find another travel agency?" ????????

(wondering what for they wanted airport taxes???)

Well, at ORBI, you will get blasted either way. So, yes, it's fun

24% failure rate is quite high but doesn't mean 100%, but you will get more failures, more frequently. Make another company, set the
failure percentage between 1 and 5%.

Well, maybe tip for Dan or whoever... pilots do not fly to warzones to have fun in reality. Most of them (meaning civil aviation, not soldiers) are
flying down there to get paid a lot, not to loose their one-plain company. Most often you will find normal-life-loosers-damn-good-pilots there, trying
put their finances back together while risking their lives.
Getting to the point now: Would it be able somehow to implement clients responsibility for repairing the plane when in warzone? I mean, when I agree
to transport fools into Baghdad or any other similary peaceful place, I should get a lot of money and bonus points, when I'll do it succesfully and we
all survive. And those fools should give me enough to repair that smouldering wreck as well! Or enough to buy another one.
If you look above, I have multiplier at 6x which is a bit low, but even with full 50x I would get about 330.000€ and repair costs were 3,8mil!!!

I have mixed feelings about Pax never wanting to fly with this company again. This failure was basically caused by mother nature. Not due
to poor aircraft maintenance. I would say that if I was a pax on this plane, it wouldn't keep me from flying with this company again. What
would keep me, is finding out that the company had a bad record of maintaining their aircraft. That being said, there are probably a certain
amount of people who would be reminded of how close they came to dying when they saw that company's name so I understand this
somewhat.

But when I take my favourite, most skilled pilot there on instant record thinking "Am I going to die today?" that's huge difference which no "Deimo
Airlines" can bring me
