Well I handled it a year ago but my memory is slipping at only 51, last year I had very few problems downloading planes from the
downloading section. Now that I inherited my wife's computer, ( its a larger hard drive and double power dell than I had before). I am
having all kinds of trouble downloading planes and putting them in the fsp payload section. I'll keep trying but if anyone has any ideas
please let me know. Thanks, Carl

Are you having trouble downloading it? if so it might be a problem with some kind of Ad blocker, or internet connection.

As far as adding a payload model to the FSP payload section , to be honest I have never added an extra payload so I am not sure if I will be 100%
right, but I think all you have to do is drop the ini.file, and payload picture into the Payload folder.

If you are unsure, the payload folder is under: X: > Program Files > Microsoft Games >Flight Simulator 9 > FsPassengers > payload_model

Well I know it isn't an Ad blocker or anything like that. I download the files successfully each time and placed them in the folder you
designated, just like I did before.

I tried restarting Flight SImulator, and even tried restarting my computer to be sure the craft was not there. The jpg image and the .ini file
are in the same folder as with the rest of the aircraft.

I remember being able to use these craft in the normal flight mode as well, so I don't understand what my problem is. If I am following the
same procedures as everyone else, and I am using craft that worked before, then I don't know where my problem lies.

Could anyone please respond, should they find a solution? Thank you very much for your time.

Right now the only thing I can think of is, is the title of the payload model the same, or very close to the title of the aircraft you are using?

If the title are not a close match the payload will register to another plane that matches the title better.

Example: Say if you wanted the payload to work for a PMDG 737-800 Swiss livery , but the payload was titled PMDG737-700.ini
They payload model will not work for the 737- 800, unless you name it either: PMDG 737-800 Swiss livery, 737-800, or 737.
If you want it to work for only that plane you would give it the first title.

Hope this might help, if not I will try and think of another solution.
