How you know Betatester work too much...

Hello folks....

Today I was on my flight duty with a short hop from EDDM (Munich) to EDDH (Hamburg) with my trusty A319 Privatair....

Short before Erfurt Airport I notice right fuel 46 and left fuel 16...

Ha? This is a bug in load editor????, why I have different fuel in wings?????.... oh my god....short before release a nasty bug..... poor Dan!

..than I look again : right tank 46, left tank 13.... 12.....11.....10.....

My Co-Pilot look at me and say....Ahm, Captain..... is not a bug, its A FUEL-LEAK !!!!

Pan, Pan, Pan ...we have a problem on board.....

Erfurt Tower: Copy Schunken air, we keep the sky clear.... you cleared to land on any runway....

LOL.....

I think that Dan has made it very clear in the documentation that we must constantly scan our panel... he mentioned it at least 3-4 times! A fuel leak
is one of the MANY failures that FsP will subject you to. So far, I've also encountered a bird strike on take off, an engine flame-out because of gun
fire, a landing gear failure (all three part way down), an asymetrical flaps failure and a complete electrical failure... I just love it!

I looked at my report and it didn't mention "Asymetrical" so I guess it was a straight flaps failure. I'll have to try it too. The plane did pull
up and left though... maybe my trim was out

A belly landing out of control.... I love it. FS9 would only detect it as a crash, Dan has made it so that you can actually have an emergency
landing for real !!!

flap failure can be Asymetrical but this is not mentionned in the report only "flap failure"
but you know it's assymetrical if your stick is all the way left or right

I have got the birdstrike on takeoff and the gear failure but I have never seen the engine flameout due to gunfire. I have to look for that one!

And you know you're are waiting for the release of FS Passengers way too desperately if:

- you keep visiting the same website at least 7000 times a day (and first hit the reload button every time, not to miss the added download button)

- you suddenly start posting in a forum

- you change your mail-provider because you haven't received the alert until now

- you suddenly start doing repaints

- you hope, that the weather will stay bad all summer

- you tell your girlfriend to go to the summer holydays with a friend

- you give your cats enough food at once to stay alive for the next 6 months


Oh my god, I could go on for ever, my life is a pure mess!

Actually, I think the gunfire blasted the electrical system... without power the engine shutdown by itself! What the hell was I doing in a C172 flying
from Baghdad to Faluja?

I got two more today... assymetrical thrust on take/off... and oil temp spike (caught it early and prevented a flameout).

Let me tell you guys that you will love FsP... Nothing like whining Betsy (GPWS) screaming "altitude-watch descent rate", your co-pilot telling you
that you're gonna crash, the flight attendant telling pax to brace for a crash and you trying to keep yourself, your pax and your aircraft all in good
order.

Now, don't worry. We beta testers are asked to push the limits. In a normal career, you probably will not encounter more than 5-10 emergencies over
a 100-hour period if you maintain your airplane and fly reasonably well.
