flying over war zone at high altitude

when you fly overa warzone at high altitude (32000ft) do you get shot then ??? I didn't found any answer about this ,and I wanna know this
because the area that I have to pass has a large cover of warzone

I think somwhere I read that you can't be hit by anything in a warzone if you are at fl 070 or above. I flew into Bahgdad and had to find out
the hard way.

I know that in reality you are safe from ground to air missiles from an altitude higher then 3000ft but I didn't knew if it was the same with

i beleive its actually 10 000ft for ground air missles me growing up in a warzone (Belgrade Balkan war conflict) at 3000 feet the AAA would be able to
hit an airplane and i think i was told we were getting bombed from 10 000 feet. All ill say is flying a bomber and killing civilians purposely (its a
real war tactic to lessen the morale of the enemy) is not really my idea of being a hero just a coward most probably. If you want to bomb something
bomb a hostile enemy not civilians. Thats a bit off topic but whats really fun is trying to get through a warzone and live. Put a side note not to do
this with an expensive plane or an airplane that you like. Engines and ruptured hulls arent cheap to fix.

What was your AGL altitude. If I remember correctly, the safe altitude is based on AGL, not ASL.

Well, it depends on what kind of missiles you're talking about. Shoulder-launched missiles are pretty limited, but larger, higher performance missile
can shoot down planes at much higher altitudes.

Well, the U2 was shot down and it has a cruising altitude of 70,000 feet! The SR-71 cruises at a max of 85,000 so, I'd say, throw some
seats on that and take it over the warzone and you're okay. Just remember to provide all pax with those space suits they wear! Crazy-a$$
plane!
