FSPassengers 2004: Flight Duration vs. Planned GMT Arrival Time?!

Hey

Purchased this add-on a few days ago... really enjoy it!!! Great work!

Although i notíced, that in the version i have, contrarary an earlier version I have tried, the GMT planned arrival, under Set Destination, has been
changed to flight duration...

This does make things a little easier, because - specially when flying through different time zones - you don't have to calculate... although as
easier as this is... I still miss, having the GMT Planned Arrival time information...
(perhaps it's just me... but I have looked in the manual/documentation PDF file, and it says, something like that in Set Destination, you can also set
the "Planned GMT Arrival Time!"?!

It also clearly states, that if you set the time for your flight, you have to be aware, that it is the (as said) Planned GMT Arrival Time NOT the
Flight Duration... Why?! Don't understand... just confused...

Anyway... is it possible, to - either have the arrival time displayed? or both? (Flight duration & planned arrival)? or is there any way to switch
between the two "modes"?!

Most likely the help info about the changeover to using flight duration wasn't updated; Dan might have to check into that to give a good answer. I
don't think there's any way to switch, it used to be just GMT, now with the "fix" its just duration. It would be nice to be able to use either method
though.

Hi there, since the update you can only use duration, there is no way to switch to arrival time

I was searching through the forums and came across this old thread. I think it would be nice to have the option to enter the planned GMT
arrival time instead of flight duration. This is a more realistic measure of on time performance IMHO.

OT:

what's the best way to measure the block flight time to a destination.. i tried to follow the block time being calculated by FMC of PMDG and Wilco
Airbus but both of them comes 30 - 1hr late or early when I'm arriving to my destination... I also followed the flight time calculated (ETE) by FSNav
but It didn't either...

I calculated my routes via fsnav then I see there how long this flight will take.
so I don't follow the real-deal here , I line myself up at the runway , I load the flighplan into the FMC. then open fsp and set the flight
duration from FSnav into the flight duration table and take an extra of 30 minutes. (select the right plane also in fsnav ) I did already 6
flights of 10 hours and always arrive 5 minutes early or 5 minutes late, keep in mind the direction of the wind sometimes you have to do
an hold circuit 2 times.

For all your support, well I guess that is it then. Will I'll just have to wait till they change it back the other way. I liked it alot, you did not
have to figure in your time , wind speed ,alt and decent time. But I guess thats the price you pay for flying . Right! Thanks for your time ,

PS: There is 1 more question, Will they ever make it where you can see passengers in your plane, the small ones, like
barons ,cessnas, up to the 208's, and maybe a little bigger.

Myself I like flying the Dash 7-101 Cargo and Passenger.

I beleive there is a payware aircraft (a baron?) where you can see a passenger in the aircraft...

I dont think it would be that hard for someone who is able to edit aircraft etc, to add passengers to the cabin, especially since it would
pretty well be the same principals as putting the copilot in the flight deck
