Don't ask for a cut in the price of Fspassenger, this is one guy who writes this and spends lots of time on it..
The price he is asking is very reasonable and you all spend more then that in 1 friday night out having fun Drinking or trips to MCDONALDS for the week, come on guys don't be cheep, pay the man the money he is asking for it it's well worth it and i'm sure you all blew more then that  on worst things..

this guy is working on a new version for prepar3d v4 64 bit and has been spending months on it to give you a product for your enjoyment..
i think it's kinda rude and poor taste for any one to ask to pay less then the reasonable price..
This is like when i post something for Craigslist asking for less then half of what you would pay anywhere else, and then they still have the cookies to ask to pay less money, they even say i'll give you this much cash right now, I then say no you will give me what i was asking now, LMAO


pay the man for his hard work for YOUR enjoyment..

Donny, I'm sure Dan will appreciate your candor regarding his hard work. Yet, this part of who Dan is with regards to offering rebates in the past and present. After all, he does advertise such a thing in the FAQ

Yeah i know he does,  but i'm very sure the reason for it, is to produce more sales, giving people an incentive because maybe he feels people are being cheep, but i think it's poor taste for people to expect him to cut the price where it's very reasonable to begin with.

Being a business man myself know what it's like..
Dan did a great job with this and it's one of the few add-ons that does not crash or have trouble..

$29.00 is not a bad price at all in fact a great price for what it does, and you even get to test it out before you buy it..

i was just expressing my feelings and thoughts on people asking to pay less, this is how i see it, people who write great stuff you want them to keep 
at it and keep providing good stuff so you should support them, paying for it is the main way to do so, if no one wants to pay then the people who create this will not want to do it anymore specially the time it takes to do this, people don't realize how much work coding is, I have a BA in Computer Science,  1987 is when i got my BA.

I realize how much lines and reading and debugging it takes for this, you really want to get some money for all this work..
I mean today a good Programmer makes around 70-90 K a year, how do you think they would feel if there employer asked if they would do it for them for half price?  it's the same thing...

Oh yes...I get what you are projecting. Not a dismissal of your feelings but this is all on Dan and what he chooses to do. In spite of the fact that Dan does ALL of the coding from memory and has zero notes to go by, he still advances a prospect of a rebate to those who do struggle to find the cash to pay for FsP. I'd say he's a dang good guy for doing it. Some people don't realize this about Dan. I respect him for doing it.

i know he chooses, but i just express to all and say hey if you got the money don't ask for a discount to take advantage..
after all like i said, the money Dan gets for this is the reward for his hard work and he deserves it..
I'm hoping soon that he finishes the new Fspassenger for prepar3d v3.4, i have FSX steam and i'm going to switch to prepar3d v3.4.
Main reason is because it's a 64 bit software and you can draw more graphics at further distances and the graphics are much better..
i'm not switching until Dan finishes prepar3d v3.4.. hopefully soon, he has been working on it for a while now, i think he stared last year sometime..
have not seen any word about a release date yet so wondering if he stopped and decided not to do it for prepar3d v3.4..

Certainly, I get it. Not dismissing your thoughts at all. For the record, it's P3D V4 and beyond that's 64 bit. I currently have V 4.4 installed.
