Beta Tester Request

I am interested in becoming a beta tester./ Im very familiar with fs9. I am not currently flying with any virtual airlines but i used to fly with a
few virtual airlines. I look foward to hearing from you soon.

As far as I know Dan has satisfied all current needs for Beta Testers. However you may wish to send him an email if a position becomes
available. In my opinion I would just wait for the final release which is certainly less than a month away and will be really fantastic.

Beta testing involves not only trying out the program and making sure that all possible conditions, settings, etc are working/performing
fine, but it also involves looking for errors, being attentative to details. It's much more than just flying with the program. Proof-reading is
part of it too, making sure that the wording of sentences make their meanings clear for all to understand, it's not just spell checking. If
there is a problem, make a suggestion on it, etc. Dan is working hard to "polish" this program and make it "shine" and the team is helping
out very nicely. I've been hoping for such an add-on for a long time & Dan is "making it so". When the final version is complete, I assure
you, that everyone will be very pleased. IMHO, this program is just right, not too big or complicated but not too small. The user has
complete control of destinations too. It gives Flt Sim just what it needs to make it even better, a goal, a purpose....your pilots a career.

Hello Chip,

sorry didn't had time to answer you about your article on beta tester...

But I can answer shortly here and that may intterest also peoples:

For me the most important quality for beta tester is that they give feedback
and report. More: that they give verbose feedback.

You can alway read fast any report if it's too long or if there is too much reports
but you cannot do anything if a feedback or report is lacking vital informations or worse
is missing...

The only bug that nobody would be able to correct is the one that no one reported.
the second one that nobody can resolve is the one that was reported with no informations
"this stuff don't work" doesn't help me at all in brief.

Including in the "verbose" are feedback about how tester feel the product and feature, a programmer
after thousand hours of work often miss the big picture, so feedback can help to renew the programmer
feeling about his program.

In brief the most important quality for me is : verbose testers...

After that of course a good team must have aware peoples, specialists or professional in the things
that the product intend to simulate but also some candid person because specialists may
forget to try "dumb things" and often the bug are here....
