Level D/ FS2crew users out there?

Hey I know this isnt a fs2crew forum or a Level D forum but im gonna give it a shot anyway....To all Level D/ FS2crew users out there I
need help. First off I need to know how to get my level D panel setting back to the default setting, the "ready to fly" state. I accidenlty
switched the default panel setting so it started out cold and dark, so the default is cold and dark, and now I cant set it back to where it was
when I first bought it. I went to import panel data but the only choices I have are the failure senarios and real flights that came with it......

For all you FS2crew Level D version users....I just need to know if im doing this right...I have read the manual 10 times over but I must be
missing something. Do I have to import the SFOLAX1 Tutorial panel data EVERY time I want to fly? The manual says that I need to
any time I fly out of somewhere other than SFO. Soooo is that every time since I never fly out of SFO? Also I understand that FS2Crew has
like randomness events like sick pax or air rage.....I have flown it about 5/6 times and it seems all the same...Like in the beginning the
engineer says "I cant believe it theres nothing here the plane looks perfect no defects" Now does that have anything to do with the
SFOLAX1 tutorial panel setting I imported or what....I hope im not like importing all the settings from that flight too. Like the flight
attendant alwalys asks to restock the same thing just like the tutorial. I just want to know If im starting FS2crew the right way.

I have been having problems with the IRS too The FO always punches in the coordinates for SFO but I have read the trouble shooting on
that and I think I have solved that problem but that goes back to my question before....do I always have to worry about the FO punching in
the SFO coordinates since I HAVE to import the SFOLAX1? I hope you all are following this....

Can't remember which was the original panel setting, since i always use the Cold & Dark. So can't help you there.

Yes, you need to load the "FS2crew LVLD 767 KSFO - KLAX tutorial" panel if you want to fly with Fs2Crew. And you need to do this wherever you fly
from, since FS2Crew is looking for the switches to be in those specific location.

About the FO punching in the coordinates wrong..
Go to "FS2004\Flights\Level-D Simulations B767-300ER" folder. There you should see all the different flights where it imports the panel data from.
If you rename "FS2Crew LVLD 767 KSFO-KLAX Tutorial.FMC" to "FS2Crew LVLD 767 KSFO-KLAX Tutorial.FMC.bak". Then that should solve it.
You can also delete the file or move it to another safe place. Renaming it, just makes it easier to get it back some other time.

P.S. Download this flowchart http://library.avsim.net/download.php?DLID=90826 and print it out. Very handy to have while flying with the Fs2Crew for 767.

when i rename it "bak" am I going to have to manually punch in my POS when I fly or does the FO still do it?

Oh and for the original panel setting I have tryed all the panels that it shows when you hit import panel setting and they are all different from the default so it must be somewhere else

Just checked it on my end, and the FO put in the correct coordinates on FMC. So it should be no problem there. Keep an eye on him though

For the original panel setting, how about creating one yourself.
Create a flight anywhere with the 767. Set up the plane the way you want it to be (I'm guessing you are looking for a "turned on and ready to go"
setting). And when the plane is basicly ready to fly, save the flight.
Then you should be able to import the panel settings from your newly saved flight.
Hopefully that will work.

Ah the randomness stuff, i missed that question...
It features random events such as Bird Strike, where the window will crack. Then you and the FO will go through a checklist etc.
There is also St. Elmos Fire. They are mostly visual i think, don't think they affect the flying except that it's hard looking through the window.
Also there are passenger random events, like air rage etc.

I haven't experienced much of these since i choose not to (i choose to use FsP failures instead).

As i understand it, these events (at least bird strike), depends on if you do the Oil check and/or Manual event thingy procedures.
If you don't do those, then nothing will happen. And if you do them, then there is a chance for bird strike or St. Elmos fire.

At least i think, i'm not completely sure about it though, maybe check on their forum.

Well heres one thing, I fly the LDS767 with FS2Crew 95% of all my flights.
The FO doesn't set anything in the FMC, at 27 mins he prepares the cockpit (overhead) and hits the IRS TO NAV.
But you should put in KSFO into the coordinates section of the FMC 1st. Or during, it doesn't matter. But I believe in real life its before. Shouldn't
take the IRS long to align on default settings.

as for random events, I've had FS2crew for an entire year now and I've only gotten about two, a sick passenger and St. Elmos Fire.
Oh wait, and a cracked window too.
Make it three.
