How Come Flight Sim won't start

I have a question. Why won't my game start? I has never done this before. I click on the icon and it does its normal thing like the splash
screen, then the free flight screen pops up and then automaticy exits out. Any Ideas. Help is really appreaciated!

got to your documents folder and rename fs9.cfg to anything (fs9.cfg.bak e.g.) and restart fs9. Probably something got corrupted in the
config file and doing the above will make fs9 create a new one.

If this does not help try to start fs9 from one of the following options:

programs/microsoft games/flight simulator 2004/troubleshooting/default settings (will load a generic setting for fs9 as when installed for
the first time)

programs/microsoft games/flight simulator 2004/troubleshooting/safe mode (is similar to booting xp in safe mode)

If it works in one of those modes at least your fs9 installation is ok. You should then try to uninstall the last installed addons (if any) one
by one until fs9 behaves normal again.
