There are some instructions on the internet for it and you can use FSEdit SDK which is very good also and comes with a help menu. Using these I have
myself built flight dynamics for my own fictional aircraft and tweaked exsisting FDEs.

It's really not that hard, once you see what each file does. Here's a quick look at the config lines for each livery of the PAI A319:

The three lines that determine what you see in the aircraft selection windows are the "ui_" lines:

ui_manufacturer=US Airways
ui_type=AIRBUS A319
ui_variation=US Airways Shuttle

The standard way to use these would be as follows:

ui_manufacturer=Airbus Industrie
ui_type=A319
ui_variation=US Airways Shuttle

By putting the airline in the top slot, that allows me to select an aircraft based on airline rather than aircraft type. If I want to fly an AirTran
aircraft, it's much quicker to look up AirTran Airways and grab one of the few they have than to looke up Boeing and sort through to the
B712 and then sift through all the airlines that fly it. Also, it makes it easy to view at a glance what aircraft are installed for each airline.

I used to fly 1-2 flights a day, everyday, and sometimes more. But then i got some problems with my pc (don't have money to fix), and i haven't flown a single flight for a long time.
