Looks to me like you have some ports on your firewall blocked. Try starting without a firewall first (also make sure the windows firewall is disabled.

Btw. DNS = Domain Name System (or Server/service). Basically it means you don't need to remember IP-addresses but just names.
Like http://www.google.com instead of 64.233.183.99. When you use a name like google or yahoo or whatever, DNS servers all over the world are there to
translate that name into an IP address what other servers understand

I've disabled my firewall but I still don't get the list of wervers rom squawkbox , and I still lose my internet connection
