Traffic at start of flight

I know, really descriptive subject line, right?

Anyway, I read somwhere that when you first load up an FS9 flight, any AI traffic that is/was due to depart within 15 of the current time, will
all "break for the runway." I guess this is to jumpstart things. Just wondering if anyone else read this and if so, does anyone load in an
FS flight, then wait about 15-20 minutes for FS to "even out" before loading up FsP? It seems to me that, at a very busy airport with a ton
of traffic (KATL, KORD, etc.), you may actually cut down on taxi and wait times if you let the AI balance itself before diving into all that soup.

I've done a few tests using that addon thing - can't remember the name! DOH! - that displays an arrival/departure board on the screen. It
shows the flights and their set times. When you click one - it takes you to the aircraft. My tests showed them to be pretty accurate -
meaning, if I started FS after their scheduled departure time, they weren't on the board; if before, they left right on the money - give or take
a few.

Yes, it takes roughly 15 minutes for fs to sort all traffic out. Usually i'm busy those 15 min setting up the a/c, loading pax so by the time i start
taxiing it's pretty busy You can also use (max) 4x acceleration of course to speed things up a bit.
I'm not sure about that tool you mentioned but with de traffic toolbox from ms you can view info about ai planes too...
