Need help with the PSS Airbus A340

I was curious about FMC and automated flights and as you know my dears 707 and 727 are not planes for this.
So I bought last week the PSS A340 which indeed offers a nice simulation of all this up to date technology. I would add that the documentation is top
quality with clears tutorials and the plane absolutely beautyfull.

THe bad side is the battery power which randomly stops, comes back, stops again. It can happend at anytime, even after hours of flying. And during
these "strikes", I have no ATC, No VOR or ILS, No nav lights or strobes and... The gears are stuck on their position.

So in the current state, no way flying this plane with FsP....

Does anyone have experience with the PSS A340 ?

The battery problem can be solved by setting the option in FSUIPC. More planes seem to suffer from this.

I indeed read that in the avsim thread. I will try this if I don't find other solutions but I am not sure. FSUIPC can extend battery life. But in my
case, the power suply stops, come back stops... quite weird. Anyway, ta bettery deserving this name should rather get loaded when the generators are
operating...
In a non technical point of view, I am also a bit reluctant to fix a payware bug by buying another payware. You see nowhere on PSS product spec and
requirement that FSUIPC is necessary. Hopefully, PSS will considere fixing their bugs by their own rather than telling (without any warranty) "Go and
buy something else"...
This is really a pity because on all other aspect, they did a splendid job with this plane.

I see your point indeed but it's still not a pss bug, it's a known fs9 bug, i think some pmdg planes have this issue also.
Do you have the default cessna as the default plane? (you don't need to start with the cessna but as long as it is the default flight in fs)
But fsuipc is worth the money i believe, it fixes some bugs in fs9 and add a lot of variables to edit to your likings

This is probably right and not the only one remaining in fs9 But a manufacturer could as well sell a car without suspensions and tires and claim
"The problem does not come from our car but from the road you choosed to go driving on" ...
So, most planes on the market free or payware, provide with their product the right walk around for fs9 bug(s). for example, CS provide for the B707
a radical but efficient solution with a line "electricity_always_availanle=1" in the aircraft.cfg (Yes I tried it too in the PSS but no avail...).

Well, thanks anyway for the suggestion Dutch, probably sooner than later I will go buying FSUIPC but I would prefere to buy it for it's proper
advantage rather than a just a PSS os FS9 bugfix...
