No. In theory, you could set the weather to "real world" weather, and simulated weather is built from all the stations reporting to the Jeppeson
weather service. But in the case where there is a hurricane in the real world, FS2004 still would not replicate it, since there is no "hurricane model" built into the code. In other words, FS2004 is not "smart" enough to realize there is a big storm afoot based on the individual readings from different weather stations The whole region where the "real world" hurricane exists would be simulated as cloudy, rainy, and no doubt windy in FS2004, but there would be no "eye" in the simulated hurricane. This is because the reporting stations are just too far apart to really allow accurate mapping of a hurricane.
300,000 km/sec. Its not just a good idea, its the law.

I believe Active Sky 5 - Enhanced, can represent hurricanes fairly, or so I have read on their forums. Though I recently got ASVE I have only
used their online weather download service which is far and above the Jeppesen download that comes stock with FS9

You wouldn't want to fly in a hurricane in the first place, would you? You people here re truely sick!!!
![]() Just a side note: For the future, weather is spelled W-E-A-T-H-E-R, not W-H-E-T-H-E-R. That's more like saying "whether or not". Get what I'm saying?
