Business Advice anyone?

I had a thriving business with 23 aircraft-- Mostly Jets (Started from scratch). I had more than 17 pilots, My main was at C14. ((My second
main was C11.. my main after those two reached C4.))

I was going good-- hundreds of flights, NO crashes. Than poof, one of my A320's failed on me right after take-off, stalled into a building,
poof. All dead. There goes mr.C14. My reputation went from nearly 98% to a 60 something percent. I tried to do a back-up flight with my alt
pilot.. It was an 737 from KLAS aswell. Sad to say, an engine failed immediatly on take-off, and the plane sort of flew side-wards into a
mountain.. All died. (Two flights in a row, out of hundreds, which happened to be fatal crashesh..)

So I was at 38% Rep, and selling those aircraft. I sold every Jet, every turbo-prop, everything exept my humble Cessna fleet. I quickly
found that with the lack of passengers, things were really hard to make up..2 pass a flight for ~17 minute flights got me very little cash,
and I had very little chance to fail (You see, I had to now use a fresh pilot since both main and back-up died). After afew flights, I got to C4
without one single penalty point! Amazing!

Now, I buy a ATR-47.. sad to say, those things are very glitchy. They bounce around vertically. Once you let go of the controls or turn on or
off the A/P the nose will be from 5* to 90* in LESS than a friggen second. I thought better of aircraft designers-- the least they could do is
make sure planes are'nt irratic and are actually flyable! So, after loosing my perfect non-penalty record, I sold the useless ATR which
loves G-force maneuvers, and bought a single caravan cessna.

Now, the many flights it took to reach C4, there were no errors or crashes, but the second I grab this Caravan (70%), the engine fails
some time after take-off due to a birdstrike. Cool, I manage to put it down-- but right after touching down on a high-way I find that street
lamps have crash-detection enabled (I thought those were off for street lamps and power lines..)

4 die, pilot and crew injured. Now at 51%, and C3.. After buying and testing so many diffrent C4 aircraft, I was broke..could'nt repair
aircraft, could'nt buy new ones, and my only hope at getting back up was injured AND degraded with nearly -1001 pilot points for...
crashing into a street lamp in an emergency landing (It was the wing, too-- and 4 people die! Not Dan's fault though, Microsoft is the one
who created aircraft crashing on fs).

So.. I need help, over 600 flights with an airline that is burning due to.... 3 bad flights. I can make 3 choices here, and now:

A) I simply give up, delete the company, start anew with insta record off--
B) I can cheat and revive my pilots, try again with a single jet after selling all the props
C) Try for another main.... and hope nothing goes wrong.

If we could use two pilots per flight, Id be outta this problem fast!

Edit: Also, does anyone know a good C4 aircraft? I searched, bought, tested, ect many many ATR's and Emraer's that C4's could fly-- ECAH had a near impossible to handle control surface, you'd pull up and the nose would go skyward beyond what the laws of physics would allow for simple thrust (A.K.K-- faster than fighter jets...), or in landing the second you deploy 10* of flaps the nose would drop and be impossible to pull up out of a sink. Does anyone have anything good and.. not.. spiked?

That's what I call having a run of bad luck.
I would definetly recommend turning off Instant record.

For a C4 aircraft I used the default DC3. I tried and freeware ATR, but too erradic controls for me. Otherwise there could be some payware aircraft,
I'm just not sure which ones for C4. Maybe a PMDG B1900C.

For C4 maybe you could try a DeHavilland DH-8. Dreamwings Design, and Premier Aircraft Design both have them; they're pretty good planes, and in the
same size class as the ATR.

My preferable for C4 is DC-3!
It is cheap, makes nice profits, and it is really safe. I mean, you can fly it with one engine all the way down to you destination airport.
Please note, that if you were flying any 2 engined plane instead of Caravan, you would probably not had to make a crush landing but
made it to the runway.
But if you don't like DC-3 for any reasong (taildragger, oldish avioniics e.t.c.), then yes, Dash 8 would be a nice choice.
But don't go for any KingAirs - they are much less profitable than DC-3
If you need good profits and can't get full pax, then load as much cargo as possible - it is allways available as much as you need
For example, flying LearJet, I get more profits for 3000lb of cargo than for full 10pax that I fy simultaneously. Just do not ignore cargo until
you build up your reputation.
And one more thing - if you want to disable instant records, just let me know.

Well, I admire your passion to criticize me, but it's not that easy, you know

Truly speaking, I was not making any research of the LJ's capacity, so I would believe what runibl says, aspecially since airliners.net
is my favorite resource too.
But, the most important argument here is that I'm just using deafult payload model included with FsP.
It is set for 10 pax all in business class.
Although there are some wrong default payload models, I find this one quite realistic.
Don't you agree?
And, no, I'm not turning them to VIP

I feel your pain, though my pilot didnt die, he is wounded and was my only pilot, so I had to create another pilot while I heal (used my
name as the pilot). My trusty D18 had gear problems and unfortunately I came down just a little too hard and lost one passenger. I dont
have instant record, but I record all flights even bad ones unless I have a bad flight due to my computer acting up.

So, how long until a pilot heals? lol.

Oh and you could always fly small single engine aircraft. Go for Bill and Lynn Lyons Piper Tripacer. Holds 4 people and sells for
anywhere from $6000 to 85,000

My idea would be to get the best avaible aircraft with the amount of $ you have (preferebly a twin), and to just hope nothing goes wrong

Wow, I'm sorry to hear about your ill-fated airline Cydon. Wh at I suggest you do is try to operate with what you've got right now, train a couple new
pilots and try to have a whole bunch of high ranking pilots. That's what I did. My airline has taken a lot longer to start, but I'm safe with having 3
of everything. I have 3 DC3's with around the same flight hours and logged flights on them. I also have 3 pilots which are at c16 (I need to change my
banner) so that way, should anything happen to one of them, I have equal backups. Do not, I repeat, DO NOT go down to just 1 jet. The Fleet income is
waaaay too nice(for me it'd be around a 6 digit loss per flight) to give up and you need to stash as much $$ as possible for (hopefully not) next time.

And if all else fails. Transfer your pilots to a new airline and cross your fingers.
