How to turn off failures on FSX

I keep getting failures and FSPassengers says they are caused by another program. I use RC only.
I have tried to turn failures off on fsX but can't seem to do it.
Am I missing something?

Do you have an addon aircraft that has failures built into the software? That could be a problem. If so, be sure those failures are disabled.Within
FSX it's advisable to un-check "detect crashes",etc, because of default scenery or addon scenery problems with buildings or AI aircraft, vehicles.

Thanks, that seems to have worked. I was getting annoyed by landing gear failures on kiss landings.
