Seat belt signs

i'am managing my own seat belt sings and i am wondering when to turn them on and off. So if any one know's can you plz tell me
when to turn them on and off.

leave them off while idiling on the runway. Before and during take off have them on. Once you've reached cruising altitude or
transition altitude and the aircraft is relitivly horizontal, then you can turn the sign off. If you are in bad weather or turbulence, turn them on.
Turn them on before and during decent. Once landed, taxi to the gate and turn off the signs (Or if you end your flight directly after you land,
turn the signs off when the aircraft has come to a complete stop and the parking breaks are on.

once you've reached at least FL160 turn them off. Don't do it as soon as you take off since you may experience some turbulences and
DONT DARE TO FORGOT THEM so your pax will not be very happy about it.
I would say that you may turn them on again not before descent since it sounds a little bit silly if you i.e are flying at FL360 you may take a
while to get final approach, I usually turn them on at 9000 feet +- if there is no turbulence at all

I turn the seatbelt sign on before starting the engines, so after boarding. I pturn the seatbelt sign off when above 10.000 ft. (after the use
of portable electronice devices are allowed announcement).

I turn the seatbelt sign on at appr. 22.000 ft, before the (before the announcement of cabin secure) and i I put the seatbelt sign of when
the engines are shut down, before I open the door.

Usually, it's sufficient to turn them off when reaching cruising altitude, and off when starting the descent. This is what I do anyway!

I turn them on in my decent around 10,000 feet, good way to remember, once the landing lights go on, the seatbelt sign goes on.

Off either:
1. at 10,000 ft if no turbulence
2. off after reducing climb rate to 1,800 ft per minute or less if above 6,000 ft

on in cruise is turbulence

off on descent around 10,000 ft, but never less than 6,000 above ground level

I mean, as aibiria mentioned, what if you start your descent from FL300+? In real life, that is..

AFAIK there are no general rules for seatbelt signs. It varies from airline to country to pilot... use common sense. Some handle it like Brad
described, others will turn them off at FL100 if weather is clear and on descent turn them back on at FL180.

Just find your own routine and stick to it.

I usually turn them on before taxiing, off at cruise altitude and on before descent... if weather's good you'll never have problems with passengers by
doing like that..

In real life, during my last flight (as a passenger, of course, from Milan Malpensa to Santorini, Greece and back) with Eurofly, they turned the sign
on before taxiing and they turned off at a certain altitude (not the cruise one, but a little before leveling the plane). They turned on again during
final descent (about 10 minutes before touching the rwy). Of course during turbolence or heavy weather, the sign was on.

That's both real life, and simulated! Normally, in the descent I'm a little more leniant, and will turn on the seatbelt sign a bit after starting
descent both if it's safe to do so, and we were cruising quite high.
