Penalty in EHAM - rwy 18R (not in default scenery)

Hello,

I fly to Amsterdam Schiphol (EHAM). There is a new rwy 18R which isn't in default scenery. I added this one by extra scenery. I have
AFCAD file correct, with this rwy. When I fly to EHAM, I get this summary:

damage and our company has received a fine of $1,309. (-595)

Why is the penalty, that I didn't land at scheduled airport EHAM (but I did). And the next one isn't correct too. I made very nice landing and
taxiing was also very good.

If FsP doesn't recognize it as a runway and only as a piece of scenery, then you'll get penalized for landing on a piece of scenery. Maybe you could
open the airport up in AFCAD and see if the runway in question is actually a "runway" or not. If not, AFCAD will let you replace it with a real one.

I open AFCAD file and I saw correct AFData for EHAM. I use eham_afv2.5_px.zip from AVSIM (because I have also other Project X scenery
for EHAM - Sierra taxiway...). In AFCAD there was correct runways, correct taxiways and everything looks good. Where may be other
problem?

It may be using the wrong AFCAD file, you may need a small freely available program to find duplicate .bgl files. I think it's called scanafd,
and will if you have that problem locate it for you and allow you to rectify it.

In AFCAD I see, that I have only 1 modified AFCAD file and 1 original AFCAD file. This is not a way to resolve my problem, I think.

Are you using 2 addon scenery files for the same airport?... if so disable the one without the extra runway and the problem should be solved. Having
2 AFCADS (addon) for the same airport is a no-no in FS2004 as it then causes problems.

No, I have only 1 scenery for EHAM with extra AFCAD file. But there are also FS2004 original AFData. If you look to set of AFData in AFCAD
program, you may look 1 original file and 1 modified file, and this with scenery priority. Original AFData (FS9) I have in layer (i think) 2 and
modified AFData from my addon scenery I have in layer 225, where I have EHAM addons.

I think you have to adjust the priority... You can test this out easy by starting from EHAM and try the Polderbaan. In default scenery the
Polderbaan is not available, so if the Polderbaan is not available, you know what is wrong.

Any news about all this? I also still have this problem, I fly a lot from and to EHAM and it's a bit annoying that i cannot set my destination
because otherwise Fsp thinks i landed at the wrong airport. And btw, no matter what runway i use for landing, 06, 36, 18, etc. my pax are
always upset about the wrong destination... So far EHAM is the only airport where i experience these problems...

Which AFCAD do you use??? I use the default EHAM with the ProjectX AFCAD (http://www.supersim.com/projectx) and this works perfect!

I'm not home now and don't remember which afcad i used yesterday (i change a lot to try to get rid of this prob) I will have a look of
course, but do you also use the addons from Project X? I use them all in fact like the taxiway (S), docking system etc. Maybe that's why it
might go wrong?
But when at home i will try your suggestion, just default eham scenery with PX afcad. But what about 5th runway etc? Did you install that
also?

Ok, i've finally found out what went wrong. Earlier this afternoon i was flying to schiphol again and looked by the atc what airports were in range. I
found there an entry i never saw before, it was called "Schiphol Roads, PXV2". According to the name it must be something by ProjectX also, it might
be the moving traffic add-on or so... I also tried selecting that "airport" as departure and it placed my plane in the middle of the arrival hall
of Schiphol haha.
Anyhow, i deleted a file called "roads.bgl" and the weird 'fantasy airport" is gone now and also no more penalty
for landing at the wrong airport!
