Problem: FSPassengers X

It's quite clearly visible the problem i'm having. Every menu in FSPassengers is mangled, all over the place, and sometimes the boxes overlap other
parts of the options and menu's.

I've done everything possible to fix it, re-installed, gone in window mode etc....

Here are my specs,
Alienware M15X Laptop
Intel i7 740QM (1.74Ghz)
Nvidia GTX 260M Graphics Card
Windows 7 64-bit Version
Microsoft Flight Simulator X
Screen Resolution: 1920x1080x32

Yep, everything on my laptop is up-to-date,

All service packs, drivers and Microsoft downloads have been installed, and i'm fully updated.

This problem also happens to FSPassengers 2004 as well, I think it has to do with my laptop, maybe FSPassengers isn't programmed for my screen resolution?

I use to have a Dell XPS 720 and it worked just fine on that with my copy of FSPassengers 2004, this is why it makes me think it has to do with
something about my laptop.

Really need Dan to have a look, as I think the problem is something within either the congfig file, or an .dll file isn't recongising my screen
resolution and isn't setting any borders for the window, leaving it to be mangled and overlap.

It's really annoying and seeing as I have paided good money for this program, I would like to get it working ASAP.

Hi,

I noticed that you stated that you had an Nvidia GTX 260M Graphics Card installed.

I just had basically the same problem with my system with an Nvidia card and as soon as I removed it and returned to the on board video system my
problems disappeared. It's great making successful flights!

This may not be the cure for you but it's worth a shot!

I can't make sense of your statement Capt. G.
Are you seriously telling me to take out my Graphics Card (which you can't do in Laptops anyway) and just use my default video card instead?

There is no way, a 0% chance I will do that, i'm not that extreme to use FSPassengers that I literally destroy my laptop.

Thanks for your suggestion anyways. I know your trying to help, but taking out my Nvidia Graphics Card is a no no for me.

Capt. G does have a good point...especially if you have an independent graphics card. After all, the GPU could be the problem and not FsP. Not taking
the necessary troubleshooting steps severely limits you to a resolution. If you aren't comfortable with opening your laptop, have someone you trust do
the task.
