Change the voice pack. Or download an audio file editor and cut out the repeated segment.

Whiskey,
I think he means that there is a typo in the text that is displayed and not a problem with the audio. Instead of "to much turbulence" it should be displayed as "too much turbulence." This brings up an interesting question. Is the text that is displayed editable? Using this case as an example, could we leave the audio as is, but edit some file to fix the text?

As far as I am aware, the text displayed cannot be altered, but as I fly without the text shwoing - it can impact too much on my frame rates - I have
not delved too deeply into it. The bestmway to test it would be to change to a user made voice pack and see if the text disp.ayed changes.

I though it was possible to edit the text displayed via the Voice Pack Creator tool supplied with FSPX (and, presumably, FSP)..?
This is something I'm meaning to do, as some of the announcements don't tally and, as marros has pointed out, some contain spelling mistakes. It may seem a small thing, but I feel the failure to proof-read FSP(X) really takes the shine off an otherwise fine piece of software. Note to self: Whatever you try, make sure you're not editing the "default" voicepack in FSP(X)'s \sound\crewpack folder. Make a backup of it first, just in case. David K ![]() |
