HELP!!!! Deleted wrong company!!!

Hi there,

I wanted a few company options changed so I created a new one and transferred my two pilots (C11 and C3), after that I wanted to delete the old
company but selected the WRONG one accidently. Now my pilots are gone...... is there ANY way to get them back, or do I really have to start from
february this year again????

sadly i dont think you can bring it back, unless you backed up the database

Maybe another vote for adding an auto-backup setting to a future FSPassengers update/version...

It's just as easy to make a regular back up of the database to avoid such a catastrophe. Do other addon programs have an auto back up
setting? Not that I've seen in the flight sim world.

No, but another feature which is called autosave, and I also don't know any other program in the FS world where loss of data is that catastrophic.

FSP is about making sim flying as realistic as possible, and I appeciate this. However it is exactly NOT realistic to die and vanish because someone
deleted you by mistake.
I know about the possible misuse of backups to bring back dead pilots or other cheats, but you can already do this by copying files.

Thats what in Windows the recycler is for: to restore accidently deleted data.

I'll get back to my original point then...please make a back up of the database on a regular basis and place it in a safe location. Autosave
is not on Dan's agenda to include for future updates....at least not in this point in time.
