Presently this is only occurring with the 2004 version, no occurrences in the FSX version.
So back when I got this computer in the middle of March I of course installed FS2004 and FSP for it. To get FSP to install correctly I had to run FS9
as an admin, you know, right click and select run as admin. So I ran the game like that the next few times i turned it on. Then one time I forgot to
do this and ran it without clicking run as admin and when I didn't see my new pilot I had just made and done a few flights with I didn't connect that
problem with the fact that I was not running as an admin until much later. So I had created a new pilot again and did a few flights. Then when I
opened FS9 as an admin the pilot I had lost before was back and the one I replaced him with was gone. This kept going back and forth until I realized
what the problem was.
So now I have two versions of my company pretty much because of this. I am wondering if theirs a way to make both pilots work no matter how the game
is opened because I hate to lose one or the others influence on the company. I prefer both pilots flights to show up, their influence on the cash
flow, so on and so forth.
Man this is one hard to explain matter.
And I do think it would happen in FSX too except I never run it as the admin so I haven't had problem.
As for now, I'm just sticking with the pilot and version of my company that only appears when I don't run as an admin, but I still miss the other guys presence.
