FSX ATC Callsign Issue

I did a search but did not find this specific issue addressed. When I set the flight id for my flight I use 7 characters. In my case USA or AWE
followed by the 4 digits of the flight number. When using FSX ATC I noticed that it is only using the 1st 5 characters of the flight id as the
call-sign. This appears to be a minor problem that does not affect anything other than the call-sign.

This is my first try at using FSPx since I bought it when it came out. I decided to bite the bullet and get started with FSX and I am quite happy
with it; minor glitches and all

That's because FSX ATC only recognises 5 characters of an aircraft callsign after the airline's flight name if you're using something like 'United' ,
'Speed Bird' or 'Landmark'. As you're using FSP to assign a callsign, then FSX ATC takes the USA/AWE as digits in the callsign, and not as it would
'United' etc.
