Don't know if anybody has mentioned this earlier, but i too had the problem that my autopilot (espacially the one in
Wilco/Feelthere airbus)
don't exceeds vspeeds above 500ft/min so i've never reached the cruising height and some mor systems don't
worked properly.
The solution was quite simple: Make sure that your settings for measuring units in fsx (settings -> general) are
the same used in fspx for
altitude unit (fspassengers options menu -> unit setup)! For me, my autopilot works know as expected.
As i come from Germany my settings were in FSX "hybrid (feet, milibar)" and in fspx "feet (ft)"....
Take also care of the other solutions mentioned here in the board like checking your aircraft.cfg for
default_vertical_speed in the autopilt
section.
