Just had a great flight from Perth to Hong Kong in my PMDG 747. It was all going well until about the 2/3 mark when my engine #3 oil
pressure hit the red line mark. I remember reading in the FSP manual "What constitutes an emergency?" and oil pressure red lining was
one example given. So I followed the checklist to the leter and then declared an emergency. The landing all went well apart from an
overshoot (retard air traffic control vectored me to a 1600 ft dirt runway...), got the pax out and then ended the flight. After ading the post
flight report I see "You decalred a false emergency, the company recieved a fine etc". Strangely the overshoot wasnt mentioned.
Is this a common issue? What did I do wrong?
Additionally, FSP kes saying that I didnt have my beacon lights on in my PMDG 747. I am absolutely certain the little bugger is on (I dont
have issues with any of the oher lights i.e. taxi, landing etc). How do I rectify this?
Thanks!
