Sightseeing tour: Type of Airline

Allow all types, while one isn't likely to use a large jet for a couple hour sigh-seeing tour, there are companies that may use turbo prop (Caravan,
perhaps? like some of the flights that come with fs), or a mutli-engine prop for saftey reasons.

The checkbox is a great idea, as is the ctrl-shift-s (or another key combination if that interferes with something important, I can't remember
), I would say to make the ctrl-shift-s a "toggle" on sight-seeing flights, and require at least 10 mins of total "sight-seeing" time (that
way you could cover multiple sights, say as in a tour of new york.. on as you fly by the statue of liberty, off again, on as you fly by the empire
state building, etc).

I would also argue with the idea that on a regular flight passengers would be upset to hear the captain point out something "sight-worthy". I've been
on several flights where the captain will point out a local landmark that people may want to see. My last flight into KSEA the captain pointed out Mt
Ranier as we descended past it (it was a great view, nice clear day) and my flight on Alaskan Airlines out of KSEA to KSFO was a nice clear day and
the captain gave us some nice little facts about some of the rivers visible as we crossed over Oregon heading towards California. Made my satisfaction

I was debating on that one too for the same reasons you mentioned. However, if you allow it for a normal flight, it neglects the value of
having a sight-seeing flight and that's why I said not to incorporate it in a normal flight. Also, the "show" command would be used to
trigger the 360 turn check.

I will simply agree that scoring upon the scenery is THE THING TO NEVER DO. Couls even be dangerous!!! simply imagine what
reaction could trigger for example an higher score (should it only be 4 points) for a turn around London than for a turn around Paris ....
Awfull, apocalyptic, I can't even find a smiley to discribe such horror.... Pfft.. Forget it.

But something based on following acurately a circuit, position, altitude, ground speed and timing could be challenging.

Although sight-seeing tours are usually made with GA planes, I would leave it available to any aircraft, from ultra-light to Illyushine 76
cargo. After all, just read the thread where some off us would do anything for a ride on a VC 10...
