Landing light

Lately I fly with IFDG A321 but everytime I finished flying I recieved 50 points penalty for landing lights, while I am sure I have switch it on while
entering the runway and off while leaving.

1.Is this a common problem with IFDG?
2. Is there anyother way to fix this beside disabling the light restriction?

did you remember to switch them off passing 10000 feet and switching them on descending back tru 10000 feet ??

Yes, I did everything required. I flew with PMDG 737 and I have no problem at all untill i flew with IFDG recently. Its now much penaly but if I keep
getting this 10x, I lost 500 points. That is a lot of points

Are you using the pss panels in this plane? For some reason the landing lights only get activated when you lower the gear. So, according to fsp this
will be too late. (and v.v., when taking off, gear up -> landing lights off, no matter whether you touched the switch or not.
When flying with airbus you'd better disable the landing lights penalty.

I can confirm that, using an IFDG A320 and the Ken Mitchell panel, I have never had a lights penalty..

Ah I see. Thats why..... I am using PSS panel

is this Ken Mitchell panel a good one compared to PSS panel??

I don't have the PSS panel, but from what I've read you probably cannot compare the two.

The PSS panel offers payware quality (and options), while the Ken Mitchell panel is geared towards those people (such as myself) who simply do not
have the time to read through a manual before boarding their aircraft.

Guys, I just had another landing lights problem as above mentioned, but this time I am flying with PSS A330/340.

I am just wondering is this problem with Landing lights (automaticaly turned off when the gear is up) happens with all PSS panel?

Man.. What a wierd thing!!!!!

I find a way round the landing light problem is to turn on all lights using 'L' then turn off landing lights and strobes.... if your aircraft eg737
hasn't taxi light swich you will find the taxi lights are now on.... start engines and then load your craft. If using light aircraft turn on lights as
above load aircraft and then start engines using cntrl+E.

Don't forget to turn on landing lights and stobes before you enter the runway.

On landing turn off landing lights and strobes on leaving runway.... taxi lights will still be on and then when you park at gate no penalty
points.
