I admire your patience Capt. Joe. But I doubt if this pilot comprehends that pushing STD when in low air pressure will not raise the altimeter setting
to 2992 regardless if you are using FSP or not.

Of course it does!! Change your altimeter setting to 29.00 and press STD. The altimeter tape will jump to reflect 29.92.

Why don't you just reset the altimeter with FS9 and PMDG? You can't go wrong then

Joeflyer...actually you should have received an altimeter setting penalty as you were flying at 34000' with an altimeter setting of

Thanx, It def not working with me so I just circumvent and do the 'L 1013' then press STD :D Going back down just the reverse ![]() |
