Bonus points for arrival time!

I am unable to figure out how to use the arrival time feature correctly. For instance i am flying from YBBN-YSSY depature time 0630 and i
set my arrival time in the FSP start up dialog to 0800. When i arrive in Sydney and end the flight i get points deducted because my
passenger are angry they arrived to early, like 9 hours early.

Does anyone know why this happens or how i can fix it up or configure it properly.

I'am not sure about this but maybe you have depature at P.M. and Arival at A.M.

Yu need to guesstimate your arrival times. I use the FS flight planner to get a route and then I usually ad about a third more to allow for climb and
approach. If using FS ATC, I add a bit more for the approach vectors (about another 15 minutes), then I add time for taxiing depending on the airports
(5 minutes at a small airport, 10-15 at larger and more at congested airports). I also add time for passengers loading and unloading - so if flight
planner reports a 20 minute flight: I do the following:

20 miutes basic
10 minutes climb, descent
15 minutes IFR approach vectors
15 minutes at departure airport (it's busy)
10 minutes at arrival airport
5 minutes to laod passengers
5 minutes to unload

80 mnutes - then I simply add the 80 minutes to the zulu time listed in FsP - so if it is showing 0830 zulu, I'll make my arrival time 0920 zulu.

I do a similar type of calculation for fuel loads.

It seems like he's not getting any help from this
What's his problem is i think the flight is 2hours and a half as he set arrival time at 0800 and departed at 0630.

But when he arrived, the pax were angry because he arrived 9hours earlier. Kinda funny.

might be a Fs2004 time bug, anyway system changed in the next update of FsP
so any Fs2004 time bug will have no effect anymore on this see:

Yes, 3 things:

1. It is UTC time. Make sure you know what the UTC time is for your local area. http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/

2. Make sure you set your time in Flight Sim correctly just before the flight.

3. Calculate your ETE using some type of flight planner. Then start your FSP flight and enter your ETA.

When it is Fs2004 time bug, it is obvious, the screen go black and you see the bargraph "loading texture and meteo". When you see that, you know
immediately you got it somewhere

It add 1 hour or more in long flights when you go west making you late and substract when you go east making you to early.

Like I've recommended in the past, GO TO REAL WORLD AIRLINE WEBSITES! There flight times are usually pretty accurate, and you
should be able to go by them.
