Flight Time Calculation

Hello, here my problem and a part of a report:

Departure: 11h56 GMT
Arrival: 13h38 GMT
Time Airborne: 01h22:51
Flight Time (block): 01h36:59
Time on Ground: 00h22:37

Let me think about it... mmmh.. Arrival - Departure = 1h42. Differs from Flight time (block) by nearly 7 minutes!!! And Time Airbone + Time
on Ground = 1:42h (correct). So the Flight Time (block) is possibly wrong? Happens on each and every flight. I have at least 400 flights
with fspassengers through the whole world. Everytime the same.

I have no programs running that make changes to the time. I have only activated the "keep fs time sync to real time" option in FSUIPC.

Can you help?

Ive just looked at my last flight, and everything is correct on mine..

If your queuing to enter a runway you dont use the parking brake do you? as if so, this will 'pause' the flight block time, thou there depart
and arrival times will not be paused i belive.

I use the latest version. I never use the parking brake while waiting in order not to irritate fspassengers. Very odd... but perhaps i get a
solution here.

Btw. sometimes i think the departure times in the report differ from the real times... has it perhaps something to to with the engines?
(most times, engines are started during pushback)...

Ah one moment: I set the parking brakes after pushback is complete and release them again when the engines have started... but on the
flights above this was a matter of a minute or less (because i startet the engines while pushing pack).

I've noticed this too but, I also didn't realize that setting the parking brake pauses the time. I always understood that once the brake was
released, the clock starts and doesn't stop until setting it after touchdown.

But, in the following two cases, I was flying a C182S so I didn't even push - justcranked her over and began the taxi:

Time Airborne: 18:14
Flight Time (block): 22:51
Time on Ground: 7:52

Now, is the time on ground started when FS loads the flight os when the brake is released? If the former, that would explain the
difference between Air+Ground and the block time.

Some calculations are wrong in FSPax.

Off Block Time is NOT the point of time where you leave the gate! Off Block Time is the time when taxiing starts. (Error!). The Off Block
Time should begin with the pushback (if you do a pushback).
The Flight Time (Block) is (if you do not take into account the errorneous off block time) calculated in a correct way and the represent the
so called "block time".

The "time on ground" is NOT the time on ground! It seems it is the sum of boarding time and deboarding time!

The "time airborne" is NOT the time you are airborne. It is possibly the sum of time airborne and the time to taxi to the gate at the
departure airport.

I did 2 testflight to find this out. So: FSPax is errorneous in calculating the times or at least has errorneous text in the flight report.
Dan, it seems a fix is needed.
